Grace Foundation’s charities mantra of “developing tomorrow’s leaders” is based on the belief that every young person should achieve their personal best and so enable them to contribute to the local, national and international community.

Grace Foundation funds an embedded Ethos Team for each partner Academy.  Each team includes a dedicated member of the academy leadership team, youth workers, family support workers and a relationships and sex education programme coordinator.  They work with key staff to help students develop a sense of identity, make wise, well-informed choices, live aspirationally, understand and apply the Grace values, and explore the relevance of the Christian message.

Through Lord Edmiston’s involvement IM Group have always been actively involved with supporting the Academies in a variety of ways. Several of our Group Resources Team also serve as Local Governors.

We provide regular donations to Grace Academy, including assisting with the cost of residential trips and facilities within the Academies themselves.  More importantly many IM employees have assisted Grace Academy as business partners and provide valuable work experience giving the students a valuable insight into life outside of school.  The work experience links have even resulted in employment at IM Group.

Various projects have been designed to assist students.  A Careers and Enterprise Programme has been developed in collaboration with IM Group as part of the Grace Academy Darlaston Business Alliance. Students are given the opportunity to gain mentoring and support, experience working alongside the business partners, participate in a work experience week, CV writing workshops, explore future goals and much more.
