Concluding this month's most important car event in Lithuania, representatives from the automotive press unamimously voted the new Subaru Legacy 'Car of the Year 2010', giving the Legacy its first COTY award in the country.

The previous, fourth-generation Legacy got second place in the same event five years ago.

Competing amongst a capable crowd of 21 models, the Legacy kept the lead right through the final round, and finished with a comfortable 13 points lead over the other six finalists, with the Toyota Prius and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class ending at a close second and third position in the final ranking.
